Tales of (mis)adventure from abroad

I love to think about how universal and wonderful a smile is. No matter what your culture is, this innate facial expression carries the same deep meaning and feelings. That day, I had been cycling on a deserted road for over eight hours against a strong headwind and I was running low on water under the punishing midday sun. The truck driver who swiftly handed me that fresh slice of watermelon out of the side of his cab was now speeding away. We may not have exchanged a single word, yet our dialogue could not have been any clearer.

Oh what a lovely story!! and it does just sum up the lovely people of Sri Lanka whose hearts are as big as their smiles!
May your smile continue to bring more in return.
come back and see us again one day xx čśÇ

    Clin d’oeil du Sri Lanka!
Charmante exp├ęrience pour un infatigable globe-trotter.
Je souhaite qu’il en soit ainsi tout au long de votre voyage. Bonne route!
