The Raw Diet

The Raw Diet

palau stamp

Keeping an open-palate is as important as keeping an open-mind when traveling. Especially on a day like this, spearfishing with the best in Micronesia. A local fisherman had fetched me a snack from inside a giant clam at the bottom of the sea. I was now chewing the long, slimy, messy mix of organs while desperately trying to keep my head above the water. His nephew, who was in the boat, was skillfully slicing up a rabbit-fish speared four minutes ago, which I was to be served with lemon juice and soy sauce. Food doesn’t get any fresher than this.

Nice one Djah-Knee!, this story you told me about during our summer hike. Nowadays, it is a challenge to eat food as fresh as you’ve shown! haha, happy meal.
