Human Continuum

Human Continuum

kyrgyzstan stamp

Several weeks and countless encounters after having first been invited for chai by this elder, I felt like I had come across the missing link. The Silk Route was a fascinating transition between Asia and Europe. Music, food, architecture, facial traits… We could actually feel eastern and western influences interweaving in a complex cultural mix here. In the grand scheme of things, I couldn’t help but ponder how ridiculous a concept national borders are. There are no lines separating human beings. You are not this and I am not that, we are all some of this and some of that.
